Panos represented our group at EuroVis 2026, held in Nottingham, in June 2026. Eurovis has been an international Eurographics visualization event held in Europe annually since 1990.
The objective of Eurovis is to foster greater exchange between visualization researchers and practitioners, and to draw more researchers and industry partners around the globe to enter this rapidly growing area of research. Eurovis has an expanded scope to include all areas of visualization, including visual analytics and explainable AI.
EuroVis papers are published as a special issue of Computer Graphics Forum, (CGF) the International Journal of the Eurographics Association, after a two-stage review process.
Panos presented an invited CG&A paper, on Monday, and chaired one session, on AI, Collaboration and Visualization.
The highlights of the conference included a tour of Nottingham, from a Robin Hood impersonator who presented a wealth of information on the city’s history and architecture, and the conference dinner, which took place in the marvelous St Mary’s Church.
Panos also visited Warhammer World, the official global headquarters and visitor centre for Games Workshop, right across the conference venue.
As always, these conference are an opportunity to meet experts in Visualization and HCI.Panos had the chance to meet past colleagues, meet new people and start a couple of collaborations.
