CollaborationA Week of Collaboration and Inspiration at Bangor University
Last week, our Human-Centred Computing research group had the pleasure of welcoming Niklas Elmqvist and Marcel Borowski from the Department of Computer Science at Aarhus University. Their visit brought a vibrant mix of collaboration, discussion, and shared exploration across our research communities.
Much of the week was spent advancing our joint work on the forthcoming Anytime Anywhere Analytics book and deepening our ongoing collaboration in Ubiquitous, Immersive and Situated Analytics. On Wednesday, Niklas delivered an engaging guest lecture, An R&D Agenda for Visualization in Human-Centered AI, sparking thoughtful conversations across the group. Meanwhile, our researchers working with SpatialStrates had the opportunity to share and discuss their projects with Marcel.
Beyond the research, we were delighted to show our guests some of the natural beauty and historical sites that make North Wales such a special place to live and work.
